Hello! I am a climate scientist at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, studying how ocean-atmosphere interactions shape climate variability, sea-level change, and extreme events across the Indo-Pacific and beyond.
My research combines observations, climate models, and data-driven approaches to understand how natural climate variability and anthropogenic climate change interact to influence regional climate systems, marine ecosystems, and vulnerable communities. My work spans topics including sea-level variability, ENSO teleconnections, marine heatwaves, monsoons, and climate impacts.
Over the past decade, I have worked across Asia, North America, and the Middle East, contributing to international research efforts and collaborations. I am actively involved in global scientific programs, including CLIVAR, WCRP, CMIP, and the UN Ocean Decade, helping advance scientific understanding while supporting climate resilience and sustainability.
As a Senior Research Fellow at the Earth Observatory of Singapore, I pursue research, mentoring, and community service aimed at improving our understanding of climate risks and informing adaptation in a changing world.
